Siroxyl Carbocisteine Sugar-Free | 300 ml

Siroxyl Carbocistein Without Sugar is a syrup that liquefies tough mucus in the airways, facilitating coughing.

Indication

• Relief of cough in respiratory diseases with tough mucus.
• Suitable for adults and children over 2 years of age.
• Does not contain sucrose or glucose.

Directions for use

• 2-5 years: 5 ml, 2x a day.
• 5-12 years: 7.5 ml, 2x per day.
• 12-15 years: 15 ml, 2x per day.
• Adults: 30 ml, 2x per day.

Do not use on children under 2 years of age. Use measuring cup provided. Treatment should be taken for an average of two weeks. Some chronic conditions require treatment for 3 to 4 weeks.

Composition

The active substance in Siroxyl Carbocistein is: carbocistein 250 mg/5 ml. Excipients in this medicine are: methyl parahydroxybenzoate, sodium saccharin, hydroxyethylcellulose, flavoring 21P087, sodium hydroxide, purified water.

Warnings and Precautions.

• Do not use in case of allergy to carbocisteine or other ingredients.
• Avoid use in active stomach ulcers or phenylketonuria.
• Consult physician if no improvement after 3 days.
• Do not use in children under 2 years of age.

Caution should be exercised in elderly or long-term use. Discontinue use if stomach bleeding occurs.

Possible side effects.

Like any medicine, Siroxyl Carbocisteine can cause side effects. Possible side effects are:

• Common: stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea.
• Rare: headache.
• Unknown frequency: allergies, rash, swelling, bleeding in the gastrointestinal tract.

In severe reactions such as breathlessness or swelling: discontinue use and consult a doctor immediately.

• Store at room temperature, below 25°C.
