Norimin is a combined oral contraceptive pill (COCP) or ‘the pill’. It contains two synthetic female sex hormones, and stops the ovary from releasing an egg (ovulation). It also adjusts the mucus at the womb’s entrance (cervix). It’s suitable for young women of all ages and contains two active ingredients – ethinyl estradiol (oestrogen) and norethisterone (progesterone).
