Lymecycline works slowly against acne. You should see some improvement within a week, but it can take several weeks before acne clears.
Lymecycline doesn’t stop the oral contraceptive pill from working, including the combined pill and emergency contraception.

If you forget a dose, take one once you remember. However, you should skip the missed dose and continue your usual schedule if it's closer to the next dose.
The majority of people take Tetralysal for 8–12 weeks, depending on the severity of their acne. Once your doctor or pharmacist understands the extent, they'll recommend a lymecycline treatment duration.
