You should take Syndol tablets up to the recommended dosage period of 3 days. You should not continue to take Syndol after the recommended 3 day period due to the addictive properties of codeine.
Adult patients should take 1 or 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours, up to 4 times daily. The maximum daily dose of Syndol is eight tablets.
You should not take Syndol more frequently than the minimum recommended period of every 4 hours.
If you are still experiencing pain after the recommended dosage period of 3 days, please seek medical advice. Do not continue taking Syndol after the 3 days, as prolonged usage is highly discouraged due to risks of physical and psychological dependence (addiction).
Syndol is best taken with food or after a meal to ensure better digestion. It can also help prevent gastric symptoms such as nausea and discomfort.
You should avoid using Syndol with other paracetamol and codeine containing products, as it can increase the risks of an overdose and lead to long-term organ damage.
