Bell’s Healthcare Mentholated Bronchial Balsam is an expectorant medication that treats coughs, colds, painful throats and catarrh. Menthol opens up your sinuses, enabling you to breathe more comfortably, while aniseed oil is an expectorant that helps you cough up mucus. Capsicum tincture delivers a warming, aromatic flavour. It’s suitable for adults and children aged six and above, and contains capsicum tincture, menthol, and aniseed.

If you are an adult or have children aged 12 and above, swallow 10ml to 15ml (two to three 5ml spoonfuls).
If you have children aged between six and 12, let them swallow 5ml to 10ml (one or two spoonfuls) every two to three hours. Unsuitable for children below six years. Avoid if you have a sensitivity to any of the ingredients. Speak to your GP or one of our pharmacists if you are expecting or breastfeeding.
