Properties

Digestion starts in the mouth through proper chewing, then in the stomach which produces digestive juices, including stomach acid and digestive enzymes. It is a crucial step for intestinal function. Pre-digestion starts in the stomach, essential for the intestine to absorb building materials from the food. Insufficiently pre-digested food not only causes limited nutrient absorption, but also rotting and fermentation in the intestines. The stomach acid prevents pathogenic microorganisms such as parasites, yeasts or fungi from proliferating. This can lead to intestinal dysbiosis or disruption of intestinal flora. It causes discomforts such as bloating as the day progresses, (travelers’) diarrhea, constipation, abdominal cramps, acne or other skin diseases, immune disorders, food intolerance … as well as chronic diseases and chronic obesity. • To support digestion.
• In case of bloating and flatulence 1 to 2 hours after meals.

Active ingredients

The ingredients of Alfa Gastric provide both a soothing sensation, as well as a healing effect. Alfa Gastric contains:

• Liquorice extract to support the gastrointestinal mucosa and relieve the burning sensation in the stomach.
• Protease and lipase to support digestion.
• Vitamin A that contributes to the structure and function of the mucous membranes of the gastrointestinal tract.
• Taurine for the transformation of food into energy.

Use instructions

• 1 vegetarian capsule before the two main meals, for up to 1 month after the disappearance of symptoms (max. 6 months).
• In case of persistent acid reflux or digestive problems, up to 2 vegetarian capsules can be taken.

Recommendations

• Consult your health professional or pharmacist in case of concomitant use of medications and/or in case of doubt.
• After the gastrointestinal mucosa has been restored, the production of gastric acid can be supported with Alpha Digest.

Ingredients

Per vegetarian capsule: 150 mg licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra L. – root extract) standardized at 1.5% glabridin and <1% glycyrrhizin content, 300 mg taurine, 400 µg vitamin A (retinyl palmitate), 7.5 mg zinc (zinc citrate), 50 mg protease (500 000 HUT/g), 37.5 mg lipase (20 000 FIP/g), 5 mg L-cysteine, HPMC (capsule), Ribes nigrum L., silicon dioxide and magnesium stearate (anti-caking agents).
