Armolipid® is a natural dietary supplement containing red rice yeast, polycosanols (a mixture of natural fatty alcohols), folic acid, coenzyme Q10 (a component of the body’s cells) and astaxanthin (a pinkish-red pigment found in microalgae, among other places). The combined action of these natural ingredients helps to control cholesterol levels.
How to use
The recommended intake is one tablet per day, to be taken with some water.
Recommendations
- Not to be used during pregnancy, when breastfeedig or in combination with hypolipidemic medicine (medicine that lowers blood fat levels).
- Keep out of reach of young children.
- Do not exceed the recommended daily intake.
- Ask your doctor for advice regarding the use of the medicine.
- Studies on the safety profile have shown that dyspepsia (digestive problems) and myalgia (muscle pain) may occur with the use of Armolipid®, particularly in people intolerant of statins.
