Azithromycin is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections such as chlamydia when doxycycline is unsuitable. You can use it for three days, and generally, it eradicates the infection within seven days. Azithromycin treats chlamydia by killing the bacteria that cause it. Suitable for adults over age of 16.
