Benzac 10% Gel | 40 g

Benzac 10% Gel is a gel based on benzoyl peroxide, a substance for the topical treatment of acne. This gel is indicated for the treatment of acne vulgaris (pimples). Benzac 10% should be administered topically in all mild and moderate cases of acne, alone or in combination with other acne treatments.

How to use

First cleanse your skin with a gentle, non-irritating soap. Rinse, dry and then apply a thin layer of Benzac 10% Gel to the affected area once or twice daily. For people with sensitive skin, it is recommended to apply the gel once a day before bedtime.

Composition

The active ingredient in Benzac 10% Gel is benzoyl peroxide 10%. The other substances in Benzac are: propylene glycol (E1520), glycerol, acrylic copolymers, carbomer, poloxamer, sodium edetate, sodium dioctyl sulfosuccinate, colloidal silicon dioxide, sodium hydroxide, purified water.

Warnings

For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, eyelids, nostrils, or mucous membranes. Benzoyl peroxide may bleach or discolor hair and clothing. Avoid repeated exposure to sunlight and UV rays; this may cause irritation. Do not apply Benzac 10% Gel to damaged skin. Contact your doctor or pharmacist before using Benzac or if any of the above warning applies to you or has applied to you in the past.

Possible side effects

Like any medicine, Benzac 10% Gel can have side effects. Not everyone gets them.
