Indications

To be used in fibrinous exuding wounds that are infected or at risk of infection such as ulcers, bedsores, second-degree burns, diabetic wounds, donor sites, abrasions where cleaning, absorption and control of bacterial flora are needed.

Recommendations

• Do not use in: third-degree burns, dry or slightly exuding wounds, individuals sensitive to alginates or silver, the treatment of heavy bleeding, surgical implantation.
• Remove the wound dressing prior to Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) examination.
• Avoid contact with electrodes or conductive gels during electronic measurements, e.g. electrocardiograms (ECG) and electroencephalograms (EEG).
