Biotona Organic Coconut Water Raw is a pure natural thirst quencher derived from 100% organic raw coconut water from the Philippines. Coconut palms (Cocos nucifera) grow in (sub)tropical areas and young coconuts contain a lot of water just after the ripening process. The coconut water for Biotona is processed through freeze-drying into a powder that is very close in taste to fresh water. This drying process also ensures that the naturally present nutrients and phytonutrients are optimally retained. Biotona coconut water contains organic maltodextrin (18% from tapioca). This means it does not have a limited shelf life like fresh coconut water and can be stored outside the refrigerator after opening, if properly sealed.
