The Cavilon Non-Puncturing Barrier Film is a liquid barrier film without alcohol that dries quickly to form a breathable, transparent layer on the skin. The product is designed to protect intact, damaged or high-risk skin from urine, bowel movements, other bodily fluids, skin injury from a medical adhesive coating (MARSI) and friction.
- Stays on for up to 72 hours and does not sting when applied to damaged skin.
- Primary barrier against body fluids, for improved continence care.
- Safe: does not affect the healing process of painful, damaged skin.
- Snap-drying and does not stick, for ease of use and patient comfort.
- Compatible with chlorhexidine gluconate and povidone iodine.
- Foam applicator of 1 ml.
