Cérualgie is a medical device whose action is based on the osmotic properties of glycerol. The main component of Cérualgie is glycerol. Lidocaine is used as a surface anesthetic aid that relieves ear pain. Cérualgie has an effect on inflammatory conditions characterized by swelling, pain and itching of the external ear canal; conditions associated with pain due to regular exposure to water and humidity, for example, after swimming in a pool; conditions associated with pain caused by the frequent use of cleansers, which destroy the natural membrane that protects the external ear canal, such as shampoos, soaps or gels. Cérualgia can be used in children as young as 6 months of age.
