Cetirizine Sandoz 10 mg is an antiallergic medication. The active ingredient in this medication is cetirizine dihydrochloride. It is intended to relieve:

• Nasal and eye symptoms associated with seasonal and non-seasonal allergic rhinitis.
• Chronic hives (chronic idiopathic urticaria) in adults and children 6 years of age and older.

Directions for Use

Take the tablets with a glass of liquid. The tablet can be divided into equal doses.

Dosage

• Adults and adolescents 12 years of age and older: 10 mg (1 tablet) once daily.
• Children aged 6 to 12 years: 5 mg twice daily (1/2 tablet twice daily).
• Patients with moderate renal impairment: 5 mg once daily.

If your symptoms do not improve after 3 days, or if they get worse, contact your doctor.

Composition

The active ingredient in this medicine is cetirizine dihydrochloride. Each film-coated tablet contains 10 mg of cetirizine dihydrochloride. The other ingredients in this medicine are: Tablet core: microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, anhydrous colloidal silicon dioxide Film coating: hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, macrogol 4000, titanium dioxide (E171).

Warnings

Do not use this medicine if you have severe kidney dysfunction or if you are allergic to cetirizine dihydrochloride, hydroxyzine, piperazine derivatives, or any of the other ingredients in this medicine. If you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking Cetirizine Sandoz 10 mg.
