Properties

D-Cure contains cholecalciferol (vitamin D3), essential for calcium and phosphate metabolism and bone health. It aids in intestinal calcium absorption and contributes to bone mineralization.

Indication

• Prevention of rickets and osteomalacia in children and adults.
• Prevention of osteoporosis.
• Treatment and prevention of vitamin D deficiency, for example in pregnancy, lactation or intake of antiepileptic drugs.
• In disorders of the parathyroid glands and malabsorption.

Directions for use

• Very low dose: 2 drops per day in the elderly or after gastrectomy.
• Low dose: 6-12 drops per day or 1 ampule per month in osteoporosis prevention.
• Medium dose: 1 ampule per week in use of antiepileptic drugs or nutritional osteomalacia.
• High dose: 3 ampules daily for 1-2 months in severe vitamin D deficiency.

Composition

• Active substance: Cholecalciferol (vitamin D3).
• Excipients: Tocopherol acetate, sweet orange peel oil, polyoxyethylene sorbitol septaoleate, refined olive oil.

Storage

• D-Cure 25,000 I.E.: Store below 25°C, in original container.
• D-Cure 2,400 I.E./ml: Use within 3 months of opening.
