Vitamin K2 is a fat-soluble vitamin known for its beneficial influence on blood clotting. In addition, numerous proteins important for bone mineralization are dependent on vitamin K2. It ensures that calcium is deposited in the bones and not in the soft tissues. That is also the reason why vitamin K2 is usually combined with vitamin D3. Also in this preparation, 25 mcg (1000 IU) vitamin D3 has been added. A vitamin K deficiency could lead to hemorrhages (frequent hematoma) or bone loss.
Active ingredients
