Diclofenac Patch EG is a locally acting analgesic and anti-inflammatory drug belonging to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
Indication
For the short-term treatment (up to 7 days) of pain due to acute strains, sprains or contusions of arms or legs in adults and adolescents 16 years and older.
How to use
- Apply one plaster to the painful area twice a day (morning and evening).
- Use a maximum of 2 plasters per day, even for multiple painful areas.
- Apply the plaster on intact skin, do not use on wounds or eczema.
- Do not use for more than 7 days without medical advice.
- After removing the plaster, wash the skin gently.
Composition
- Active substance: 140 mg sodium diclofenac per patch.
- Excipients: including polyester, acrylates, PEG-12 stearate and sorbitanoleate
Side effects
- Common: skin irritation, redness, itching
- Rare: dry skin, allergic skin reactions
