DuoDERM E Border creates a soft mass on the adhesive side by interacting with the wound exudate. This makes it possible to remove the plaque without damaging the newly formed tissue. The interaction creates a moist wound environment. Also, the dressing protects the wound from bacteria and other external factors.
The dressing has an additional adhesive border all around, which eliminates the need for additional taping of the dressing.
DuoDERM E Border can remain in place for up to 7 days.
