Indication
- Prevention of tooth decay.
- Support with orthodontic appliances and partial dentures.
- Treatment of sensitive dental necks.
Instructions for use
- Use once a week at bedtime after brushing teeth.
- Apply 1-2 cm of gel to a toothbrush, brush thoroughly, do not swallow, leave for 2-3 minutes, then rinse briefly.
- For sensitive dental necks, rub gently with a soft brush.
- Total application time: up to 5 minutes.
Composition
The active ingredients in Elmex Medical Gel per gram are: olaflur (30.32 mg), dectaflur (2.87 mg), sodium fluoride (22.1 mg), corresponding to 12.5 mg fluoride (1.25%). Excipients: hydroxyethyl cellulose, propylene glycol, saccharin, peach-mint flavoring, purified water.
Warnings
Elmex Medical Gel should not be used in persons whose swallowing reflex is inadequate or not yet fully developed (children under 6 years of age), in persons allergic to any of the substances in this medication, in persons suffering from a condition of the oral mucosa, and in patients with bone and/or tooth enamel fluorosis.
Possible side effects
Like any medication, Elmex Medical Gel can have side effects. These may include desquamation of the oral mucosa, irritation of the mouth, superficial erosion of the oral mucosa/mouth ulceration, nausea or vomiting, and hypersensitivity (allergic reactions).
