Active ingredients

Eucerin AtopiControl Intensive Soothing Cream is a unique complex containing regenerating omega 6 fatty acids (evening primrose oil and grape seed oil), caring Licochalcone A (an extract from licorice root), antibacterial decanediol and cooling menthoxypropanediol:

• Evening Primrose Oil is a natural plant oil of very good quality, containing a high percentage of omega-6 fatty acids, namely linoleic acid and gamma-linolenic acid. They help stabilize the skin’s own protective barrier and reduce moisture loss, restoring nourishment and smoothness to rough and dry skin.
• Grape seed oil is a rich source of essential fatty acids and vitamin E. The polyphenols and flavonoids present in grape seed oil are strong antioxidants and therefore protect the skin from harmful influence by free radicals, while linoleic acid soothes and nourishes the skin.
• Lichochalcone A is a powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant derived from the root of the Chinese licorice plant. The antioxidant action of licochalcone A is used by that plant to protect its cells from UV radiation. It ensures the storage of antioxidants in the deeper epidermis, and this ingredient has been proven to protect skin cells damaged by sun-induced free radicals. When licochalcane A is applied to irritated skin, it reduces redness and has a soothing effect on inflammation.
• Decandiol is a moisturizing ingredient for products applied topically and has an antimicrobial effect.
• Menthoxypropanediol is obtained from menthol and has the same cooling properties as menthol. This cooling effect relieves itching.

How to use
