Galpharm Junior Ibuprofen Suspension 100mg/5ml 100ml is an easy to give, orange flavour, anti-inflammatory medicine designed to treat a variety of conditions in children over the age of 3 months.
It's a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), meaning it works by blocking the chemicals that cause pain and inflammation, reducing swelling, lowering high temperatures, and easing pain.
It comes in a bottle with a handy dosage syringe, so you can measure doses accurately. Read the enclosed leaflet carefully before giving this medicine to your child.
Galpharm Junior Ibuprofen Suspension can be used to treat a variety of ailments, including fever and pain, your child might experience, including:

Ibuprofen 100mg/5ml (active ingredient)
Liquid Maltitol (E965)
Sodium methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E219)
Sodium propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E217)

As a general guide:
3-6 months: 2.5ml every 6-8 hours
6-12 months: 5ml every 6-8 hours
1-4 years: 5ml every 6-8 hours

7-12 years: 10ml every 6-8 hours
Doses should be taken with or after food to reduce the risk of stomach upset.
Leave at least 4 hours between each dose.
Do not give your child more than the recommended dose.
Do not give more than 4 doses within any 24-hour period.
Do not give Galpharm Junior Ibuprofen Suspension to your child for more than 3 days without talking to your doctor.
