HAXL One is a biocompatible hydrogel containing highly purified, cross-linked sodium hyaluronate obtained by biofermentation, dissolved in a physiological and isotonic buffer. The product is a sterile, apyrogenic, injectable hydrogel and is low in endotoxins.
HAXL One is intended for intra-articular injections into the synovial space of the knee as viscosupplementation for synovial fluid when viscosity is decreased due to osteoarthritis in patients who did not respond adequately to conservative, non-pharmacologic therapy and simple analgesics.
