Hedera-Méréprine is a plant-based medicine with a dry extract of ivy leaf (Hedera helix L., folium) as the active ingredient. This cough syrup is used as an expectorant in productive coughs. Thanks to its natural composition, it is suitable for adults, adolescents and children from 2 years of age.
Indication
- In productive cough with mucus formation.
- Suitable for children over 2 years of age.
- For temporary relief of symptoms in respiratory tract infections.
Instructions for use
Take Hedera-Méréprine syrup by mouth using the measuring cup provided:
- Adults and adolescents: 5 ml, 2 to 3 times a day.
- Children aged 6-11 years: 5 ml, 2 times a day.
- Children aged 2-5 years: 2.5 ml, 2 times a day.
Do not use in children under 2 years of age. Consult your doctor if symptoms persist for more than 5 days.
Composition
- Active substance: dry extract of ivy leaf (Hedera helix L.) – 5.4 mg/ml.
- Excipients: lactose monohydrate, sorbitol (E420), benzoic acid (E210), xanthan gum, essential oil of eucalyptus, purified water.
Warnings
Not recommended during pregnancy or lactation. Contains sorbitol and lactose – do not use in hereditary intolerances. Contact a pharmacist for tailored advice.
Side Effects
