HydroTac Transparent and HydroTac Transparent Comfort are sterile, transparent, single-use hydrocellular gel dressings (with or without an adhesive border) consisting of hydrated polyurethane polymer containing glycerin. The dressing can release moisture and absorb a limited amount of exudate, creating a moist wound environment that has a stimulating effect on wound healing due to its high water content of approximately 60%. It thus stimulates granulation and epithelialization. HydroTac Transparent (Comfort) is transparent and provides an atraumatic dressing change. Because of its transparency, wound inspection is possible at any time without removing the dressing. The product is covered with a semipermeable layer to prevent bacterial penetration.
