The Hylo Dual Intense artificial tears counteract dry eyes because, thanks to their particularly high concentration of 0.2% long-chain hyaluronic acid, they are highly viscous and therefore adhere to the eye surface for a long time. This provides the eye with a stable moisture film in a particularly intensive and long-lasting manner. Hyaluronic acid is an endogenous substance with the property of a particularly high water-binding capacity. At the same time, the drops reduce the friction between the eyelid and the cornea, which prevents additional irritation of the eye and provides a pleasant feeling.

Active ingredients

• Hyaluronic acid moisturizes and protects: the high quality hyaluronic acid used in Hylo Eye Care products results in even, stable and particularly long-lasting moisturization of the eye’s surface. Hylo Dual Intense contains a particularly high concentration of hyaluronic acid at 0.2%, is highly viscous and can relieve chronic symptoms and thus permanently protect the eye from irritation. Due to the moisturization, foreign objects and irritants from the environment no longer penetrate the cornea as easily, reducing the risk of inflammation.
• Ectoin stabilizes and soothes: the natural substance ectoin also supports the stabilization of the lipid layer of the tear film and prevents excessive evaporation of the tear fluid and drying of the eye. The natural product is extracted from microorganisms that live in extreme conditions and protect themselves from dehydration in highly salty waters by producing ectoin. This ingredient increases water retention on the cells of the eye’s surface. At the same time, it stabilizes the lipid layer of the tear film and relieves the typical inflammatory symptoms such as burning, itching and the sensation of something in the eye.

Recommendations

• During pregnancy, while breastfeeding and in children under 12 years of age, Hylo Dual Intense may be used a maximum of 10 times a day.
• Hylo Dual Intense should not be used in case of hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients and not in children under 6 years of age.
• Hylo Dual Intense cannot be used concomitantly with wearing contact lenses.
