Properties

The Ofta Demodex Wipes from Kamillosan are sterile wipes made of natural cotton, soaked in a solution based on Hy-ter (hyaluronic acid and natural extracts of Melaleuca) and aloe, which have a cleansing, soothing, calming and decongestant effect. The wipes are ideal for cleaning the eyelids and eyelashes and as complementary therapy of antiseptic treatment before and after surgery, in the treatment of conjunctivitis of bacterial and allergic origin and in the treatment of blepharoconjunctivitis (caused by Demodex) of chalazion and abscess.

How to use

• You use a warm cloth for stubborn eye secretions. Put the closed pouch with the cloth in hot water (max. 45 °C) for 10 minutes.
• You use the cloth at room temperature to clean and/or remove crusts, dander, eye secretions and other residues. Open the pouch and clean carefully with the cloth.
• You use the cloth cold for swelling and redness of the eyelids and eyes. Place the closed pouch with the cloth in the refrigerator (min. 5 °C) for 10 minutes.

Recommendations

• In case of blepharitis, massage the eyelids by small circular movements to empty the contents of the glands for cleaning eyelids and eyelashes.
• Wash the hands carefully.
• Open the pouch by by the pre-cut notch.
• Keep the eyes closed to clean the eyelids and eyelashes. Apply the cloth from the inner corner of the eye to the outer corner of the eye. Use 1 tissue for each eye.
• Wash hands after use.
• Do not rinse eyes after use.
