Kamillosan Solution | 100 ml

Kamillosan Solution is a plant-based medicinal product used for topical use as an emollient and/or antiseptic for inflammation of the throat, for topical use as adjunctive emollient and itching treatment and anti-inflammatory treatment of dermatological conditions, and for internal use in the symptomatic treatment of discomfort in digestive disorders after any serious condition has been ruled out.

How to use

Always use Kamillosan exactly as described in the enclosed package insert or as told to you by your doctor or pharmacist. It is used both in diluted and undiluted form depending on the type of application.

Dosage

For internal use as a tea for stomach or bowel problems, dilute 2 – 3 ml of Kamillosan Solution in a cup of warm water and drink 3 to 4 times daily. Not for internal use in children under12 years of age.

For external use in rinses, bandages and partial baths, use 15 ml (1 tablespoon) per liter of water. For full baths, use 2 x 15 ml (2 tablespoons) or more as needed.

Warnings

Use extra caution with Kamillosan Solution if you have liver disease, suffer from epilepsy, have a brain disorder or if you have alcoholism. In these cases, you cannot use Kamillosan Solution for internal use.

Possible side effects

Like any medicine, Kamillosan may have side effects. Not everyone gets them. It can cause hypersensitivity reactions such as contact dermatitis. Cases of anaphylactic shock or asthma have also been reported.

Storage

Store this medicine below 25°C and in the original container. During the storage period, a slight precipitate may form. This is normal for a plant-based preparation and does not affect the quality of the product.

Can I use Kamillosan Solution if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?

No effective studies were conducted on the use of this medicine during pregnancy and lactation. For this reason, the use of Kamillosan Solution during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended.

Can I use Kamillosan Solution if I am an alcoholic?

If you suffer from alcoholism, you cannot use Kamillosan Solution for internal use. This medicine contains 35% ethanol (alcohol) by weight.
