The Postpartum Compress is a reusable compress that can be used either cold or warm to relieve pain and discomfort after childbirth.

• After warming in the microwave, the gentle warmth will reduce the cramps and postpartum discomfort that often occur after childbirth.
• After cooling in the freezer, the dressing provides relief for perineum, hemorrhoids or pain after cesarean section.

How to use

• The dressing should be used for up to 20 minutes, unless otherwise directed by your doctor. You should wait at least 1 hour after each use before using the dressing again. Too long use may cause injuries, as well as burns.
• Warm use: a few seconds in the microwave is sufficient. Gently knead the pad to distribute the warm beads evenly. The color indicator (white) shows that the pearls are warm.
• Cold use: place the pad in the freezer 4 hours before use. The color indicator (purple) shows that the pearls are cold.
• The reusable pad should be cleaned with mild soap and water or disinfected with isopropyl alcohol (70%) after each use.

Recommendations

For ultimate comfort and better hygiene, the dressing can be placed in a protective cover (provided). Do not heat or freeze the bandage with protective cover.
