Lansoÿl Gel | 225 g

Lansoÿl Gel is an oral laxative designed to provide relief from constipation. It contains 78.230 g/100 g of paraffin oil. Note that constipation is first treated by appropriate diet and lifestyle habits. The jelly-based paraffin oil soothes bowel movements and speeds up bowel transit.

How to use

Always follow the instructions in the package insert or as advised by your doctor or pharmacist. If there is no improvement, consult your doctor again.

• Adults and children over 15 years of age: 1 to 3 tablespoons per day.
• Children 4 to 15 years of age: 1 to 3 teaspoons daily.
• Intake can be taken in one or more doses, preferably in the morning on an empty stomach, or two hours before or after the main meal and any intake of fat-soluble vitamins.
• If you take the drug at night, it is advised not to lie down for the first two hours after taking it. Keep in mind that Lansoyl Gel does not work until 6 to 8 hours after ingestion.

Composition

The active substance in Lansoÿl Gel is paraffin oil in an amount of 78.230 g/100 g. The other substances in this drug are sucrose, citric acid monohydrate, gelatin, cochineal red A, aromatic (contains ethanol and benzyl alcohol) and purified water.

Warnings

Lansoÿl is not suitable for children under 4 years of age. You should also take extra care with prolonged use. If you are debilitated and bedridden, you should also be extra careful because of the risk of respiratory inhalation and pneumonia.

Possible side effects

The most common side effect when using Lansoÿl Gel is diarrhea. With high doses, anal leakage may also occur, sometimes with irritation around the anus.
