Livostin 0.5 mg/ml Nasal Spray | 10 ml

Livostin Nasal Spray is a medicine that carefully treats allergic nasal symptoms. The nasal spray provides quick and lasting relief from symptoms of allergy and hay fever. It can be very unpleasant to suffer from sneezing, itching and runny nose. These symptoms can occur in certain seasons as well as throughout the year. The nasal spray provides palpable relief from symptoms of allergic rhinitis.

How to use

Follow these steps for proper use of Livostin Nasal Spray:

1. Shake the bottle well before removing the cap.
2. When using the bottle for the first time, remove the cap and push once or twice until a fine spray emerges.
3. Purge the nose thoroughly.
4. Hold the bottle as shown in the illustration in the package insert. Bend your head slightly forward. Hold one nasal opening firmly closed and insert the nozzle into the other nasal opening.
5. Spray twice while inhaling through the same nasal opening.
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for the other nasal opening.

Dosage

For children aged 3 to 12 years, the recommended dose is 1 spray per nostril, 2 times a day. Adults can administer 2 sprays per nostril, also 2 times a day. For severe symptoms, the dosage can be increased to 3 to 4 times a day.

Composition

The active ingredient in Livostin Nasal Spray is levocabastine hydrochloride. Each ml contains 0.5 mg of levocabastine. 1 ml of nasal spray corresponds to 10 sprays, each containing 0.05 mg of levocabastine. The other ingredients in this medicine are: 0.295 mg/ml benzalkonium chloride 50% solution as a preservative, propylene glycol, polysorbate 80, disodium monohydrogen phosphate anhydrous, sodium dihydrogen phosphate monohydrate, disodium edetate, hypromellose 2910 5 mPa.s, purified water.

Warnings

Do not use Livostin Nasal Spray if you are allergic to any of the ingredients in this medicine. Always consult your doctor or pharmacist before use if you have kidney or liver disease, or if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or breastfeeding.

Possible side effects

Like any medicine, Livostin Nasal Spray can have side effects. Not everyone gets them. Possible side effects include headache, sinusitis, dizziness, drowsiness, sore throat, nosebleed, cough, nausea, fatigue and pain.

How to store

Store Livostin Nasal Spray at room temperature (15-25°C) and out of the sight and reach of children. Do not use this medicine after the expiration date.
