Properties

LUTOM 3 is a dietary supplement consisting of a rational combination of lutein and zeaxanthin (from Tagetes erecta L.), with fish oil rich in polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acids (EPA + DHA), vitamins, zinc and copper. Lutein and zeaxanthin (from Tagetes erecta L.) are substances that the human body cannot convert, but are absorbed through the diet due to their presence in nature, particularly in green leafy vegetables. Once lutein and zeaxanthin are absorbed in the body, they are distributed to the tissues, particularly of the eyes, where they are deposited in the retina, mainly at the level of the macula (yellow spot).

The omega-3 fatty acids are so-called “essential” substances, because the body cannot convert them itself. In the eyes, these substances are deposited selectively and possibly in the retinal tissue. LUTOM 3 is indicated in acute demand or reduced nutritional intake of the nutrients it contains. Omega 3 (DHA) contributes to the maintenance of normal vision.

LUTOM 3 also contributes to normal nervous system and blood vessel function, especially in the eyes.

How to use

Take one capsule per day with water during meals.

• Do not exceed the recommended daily intake.
• Cannot replace a balanced, varied diet and a healthy lifestyle.
• The beneficial effect of DHA is obtained with a daily intake of 250 mg of DHA.
