Macrogol + Electrolytes AB 13.7 g is a laxative for the treatment of constipation in adults, adolescents and the elderly. Its use in children under 12 years of age is not recommended. Instructions for use
Dissolve the contents of each sachet in 125 ml of water and drink it. The dosage varies depending on the severity of your constipation:
- For constipation: Take 1 sachet 1-3 times a day, depending on the severity of your constipation.
- For fecal impaction: The dose is 8 sachets per day. Each sachet should be dissolved in 125 ml of water. The 8 sachets should be taken within 6 hours, up to 3 days if necessary. If you have a heart problem, do not take more than 2 sachets in one hour.
Composition
The active substances in this drug are macrogol 3350, sodium chloride, sodium hydrogen carbonate and potassium chloride. The other substances in this drug are : orange flavor Silarom – lemon-lime flavor “ME” – anhydrous colloidal silicon dioxide and saccharin sodium.
Warnings
Do not take Macrogol + Electrolytes AB 13.7 g if you are allergic to macrogol or any of the other ingredients of this medicine. Also, if you have internal obstruction, a perforated bowel wall, or a severe inflammatory bowel disease such as ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, or toxic megacolon, do not take this medicine.
