Milbemax is indicated in cats for the treatment of mixed infections with immature and adult cestodes and nematodes of the following species (Cestodes: Dipylidium caninum, Taenia spp., Echinococcus multilocularis; nematodes: Ancylostoma tubaeforme, Toxocara cati). The veterinary drug can also be used in the prevention of heartworm disease (Dirofilaria immitis), when concomitant treatment against cestodes is needed.
