Nasasinuspray Sine Conservans | 10 ml

Nasasinuspray Sine Conservans is a preservative-free nasal spray with xylometazoline hydrochloride as the active ingredient. The drug belongs to the sympathicomimetics and has a rapid and sustained decongestant effect on the nasal mucosa.

Indication

• Relief in acute rhinitis (nasal congestion, runny nose).
• Treatment of vasomotor rhinitis and allergic rhinitis.
• Support in the drainage of nasal secretions in common cold.

Warnings and Precautions.

Do not use Nasal sinus spray Sine Conservans:

• If you are allergic to xylometazoline or any of the excipients.
• In case of dry inflammation of the nasal mucosa (rhinitis sicca).
• With severe heart problems, high blood pressure or a thyroid gland that works too fast.
• In increased eye pressure (narrow-angle glaucoma).
• In children under 7 years of age.

Use extra caution with prolonged use. Excessive or chronic use may lead to a “rebound effect” with chronic swelling or damage to the nasal mucosa (rhinitis medicamentosa).

Do not use together with MAOIs or certain antidepressants. When in doubt, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Directions for use

• For adults and children 7 years and older.
• 1 spray per nostril, 1 to 3 times daily.
• Use for a maximum of 5 consecutive days.
• Clean the pump after use.

Composition

Nasasinuspray Sine Conservans contains xylometazoline hydrochloride (0.87 mg/ml xylometazoline), sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, disodium phosphate dihydrate, glycerol, sodium chloride, sorbitol, sodium hyaluronate and water for injection.

Possible side effects.

• Uncommon: headache, insomnia, palpitations, nausea, fatigue, nosebleed.
• Rare: increase in swelling of the nasal mucosa.
• Not known: restlessness, dizziness, atrophy or burning in the nose, dry nose, rebound effect.

Discontinue use and consult a doctor in case of: increased blood pressure, disturbed heart rhythm or vomiting.

Storage

• Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
• No special storage conditions.
• Can be kept for one year after opening.
