Properties

Isosource Energy is a ready-to-use, energy-rich (1.6 kcal/ml), fiber-free, complete enteral nutrition. Isosource Energy tube feeding can be administered as continuous feeding or in portions. Isosource Energy is a dietary food for use in cases of (risk of) malnutrition and for people with increased energy requirements or those with fluid restriction. Isosource Energy is suitable for use as a sole source of nutrition.

• Contains: lactose (<0.05g/100ml), milk protein, fish oil.
• Gluten-free.

Use instructions

Use ≥ 500 ml of Isosource Energy as a dietary supplement and 1000 to 1500 ml if Isosource Energy is used as a sole source of nutrition. Alternatively, follow medical recommendation. Administer Isosource Energy as a tube feeding at room temperature.

• The Smartflex can be stored unopened in a cool, dry place until the expiration date printed on the package and box.
• Opened Smartflex should be consumed within 24 hours.
• Store the opened Smartflex sealed in the refrigerator.

Recommendations

• Isosource Energy is a dietary food for medical use and should be used under medical supervision.
• Suitable for persons over 3 years of age.
• Not suitable for parenteral (I.V.) use.
• Addition of medications or other foods to this product is not permitted.
