Properties

Isosource Protein Fibre is a ready-to-use, protein- (21% kcal) and energy-rich (1.33 kcal/ml), fiber-rich, complete enteral nutrition. Isosource Energy Fibre can be used orally or as a tube feed. This diet food is suitable for use in cases of (risk of) malnutrition and for people with increased protein and energy requirements. Isosource Protein Fibre can be used as a sole source of nutrition.

Use Instructions

Use ≥500ml Isosource Protein Fibre as a supplement to the diet and 1500-2000ml if Isosource® Protein Fibre is used as a sole source of nutrition. Alternatively, follow the medical recommendation. Administer Isosource Protein Fibre as a tube feeding at room temperature. Isosource Protein Fibre is available in a SmartFlex container and suitable for continuous or per-bolus feeding.

• The Smartflex can be stored unopened in a cool, dry place until the expiration date printed on the package.
• Opened Smartflex should be consumed within 24 hours.
• Store the opened Smartflex sealed in the refrigerator.

Recommendations

• Isosource Protein Fibre is a dietary food for medical use and should be used under medical supervision.
• Suitable for persons over 3 years of age.
• Not suitable for parenteral (I.V.) use.
• The addition of drugs or other foods to this product is not permitted.
