KetoCal 3:1 is a dietary food for infants and children up to the age of 3 years in cases of medication-resistant epilepsy or other conditions in which a ketogenic diet is indicated.

How to use

• Wash your hands and clean the preparation surface.
• Sterilize all necessary materials.
• Prepare the powder with hot water (45°C-50°C) to dissolve completely.
• Cook water for 5 minutes and allow to cool to about 50°C. Use a sterile thermometer.
• As an alternative, just boiled water (boiled for 5 minutes) can be mixed with cooled boiled water (should also have boiled for 5 minutes) in a 1:1 ratio to achieve the correct temperature.
• Spend the required amount of hot water in a sterilized bottle or sterilized container that can be sealed with a twist-off cap.
• Weigh the required amount of powder. The daily dosage of KetoCal 3:1 should be determined by a physician or dietitian and depends on the patient’s age, weight and medical condition.
• Add the weighed amount of powder to the water.
• Close the bottle with the cap and shake until the powder is completely dissolved.
• Prepared food should be cooled quickly before use.
• For bottle feeding, check the temperature by dripping a few drops on the wrist.
