Properties

Omega fatty acids are unsaturated fatty acids that are essential for a healthy diet. However, our diet contains too many and wrong fats (saturated fatty acids). Important for our body is the balance between omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids. Our Western diet has increased the intake of omega 6 fatty acids. Due to the lower intake of omega 3 via (oily) fish, among other things, the ratio between omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids in the diet has become unbalanced. Ω3 Omegamed® Gold PQ contains a combination of three substances: EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid), DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) and vitamin E.

Active Ingredients

Ω3 Omegamed® Gold PQ contains 1000 mg of omega 3 concentrate with high doses of EPA (330 mg) and DHA (220 mg), specific marine omega-3 fatty acids, supplemented with additional vitamin E (10 mg):

• DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) and EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) are specific omega 3 fatty acids that contribute to normal heart function (from 250 mg/day).
• DHA also contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function and vision (from 250 mg/day).
• Vitamin E is a natural antioxidant that helps protect cells from oxidative stress.

Use Directions

• For adolescents and adults, the recommended daily intake is 1-2 capsules per day with a glass of water, preferably before or during breakfast or meals.
• Ω3 Omegamed® Gold PQ may be a good year-round supplement for omega 3 deficiency.

Ingredients

Per capsule: 1000 mg of fish oil concentrate with omega 3 fatty acids including 330 mg EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and 220 mg DHA (docosahexaenoic acid), gelatin, humectant: glycerol, water, D-alpha tocopherol concentrate (10 mg vitamin E, 83.3% RDA).
