The OneTouch Verio Control Fluid is used to check that the meter and test strips are working properly together and that the test is proceeding correctly. It is recommended to do a test with control solution:
- Every time you open a new tube of test strips.
- When you suspect that the meter or the test strips are not working correctly.
- When you have repeatedly had unexpected blood glucose results.
- When you drop or damage the meter.
