Features

The OneTouch Verio test strips are intended for use with the OneTouch Verio IQ, OneTouch Verio Pro and OneTouch Verio blood glucose meters to measure the amount of glucose in fresh capillary whole blood.

• Automatically aspirate blood.
• May be touched.
• Blood can be easily applied (left and right) to the test strip.

Recommendations

• Store the tube containing the test strips in a cool, dry place below 30°C. Do not store them in the refrigerator. Protect the tube from direct sunlight and heat.
• Store your test strips only in their original tube to avoid the risk of contamination and damage.
• Open the tube with the test strips only when you are ready to test. Open the tube only to remove test strips.
• After removing a test strip from the tube, immediately push on the cap and use the test strip immediately.
• Do not use test strips that are in damaged tubes or exposed to air.
• Note the expiration date (6 months after opening the tube) on the label each time you open a tube for the first time.
• Test strips that are still in the tube after the expiration or use-by date (whichever is earlier) should be discarded.
• Prevent dirt, food or liquids from getting on the test strip. With clean, dry hands, you may touch the test strip anywhere.
• Do not bend or tear the test strip in any way.
• The test strips are intended for single use. Never reuse a strip that has blood or control solution applied to it.
• Make sure your meter and the test strips are approximately the same temperature before testing.
• Apply only OneTouch Verio control solution or a blood sample to the test strip.
• Do not put the used test strip back in the tube after testing.
