Properties
The 3M Opticlude Silicone eye patches are used for treating strabismus (squinting) and amblyopia (lazy eye) in children. The patch is worn over the good eye to make the weak eye work harder. This stimulates the development of the brain area that controls vision.

Use instructions
- The eye patch should be applied to clean, dry skin with the eye closed and the facial muscles relaxed.
- The eye should remain closed so that the entire eye area can be covered.
- Remove the protective paper and apply the pad under the eyebrow. Make sure the narrow side of the pad faces the nose.
- Make sure the child cannot peek next to the eye pad. Gently press the cushion to ensure that the adhesive layer of the patch sticks to the skin.
- To remove the eye patch, peel the edges off slowly toward the center of the patch. Gently pull the plaster back.
