Features

The adhesive discs of XyliMelts are placed on the teeth and/or gums and slowly dissolve without leaving residue. Each disc contains 550 mg of xylitol, which is slowly released during use to stimulate natural oral fluids to combat symptoms of dry mouth. XyliMelts provides relief day and night. XyliMelts strengthens oral health both at night and during the day. The discs stimulate salivary flow, moisturize, lubricate and counteract plaque and tooth decay.

How to use

During the day: use as needed; during sleep: use two discs, one on each side of the mouth (sometimes one disc is sufficient).

• Place the disc under the lip, on the gums and/or on the teeth at the level of the molars. Place the white side toward the cheek and the colored, bonding side against the gums and/or teeth.
• Use the tongue to place the disc in a comfortable location.
• Do not touch the disc with the tongue or fingers for 10 seconds once it is in place. This disrupts the bonding process. After 5 minutes, the bonding is at its strongest.
• If the disc is still uncomfortable, move it with the tongue within a minute.

Recommendations

• Because of the patented OraMelts technology, XyliMelts can be used with CPAP appliances, orthodontic appliances and dentures without any problems.
• Not suitable for use on children younger than 5 years due to the risk of choking.
• For use during sleep, attach the disc to gums and/or on the outside, not on the palate. This prevents unnoticed loosening with the tongue, causing the disc to get into the throat or lungs.
• Xylitol is toxic to dogs, not to other pets.
• Store in a dry place, for single use, non-sterile.

Ingredients

0.5 grams of xylitol (from corn cobs), gum from acacia juice, cellulose gum, calcium carbonate (less than 4 mg), magnesium stearate (less than 0.4 mg). Contains no animal products, corn protein, dyes, artificial flavors, preservatives, nut or peanut ingredients, wheat, rice, gluten, soy, egg, fish, shellfish or crustaceans, milk or yeast.
