Otrivine Nasal Drops are a fast-acting and effective way to relieve nasal congestion in children aged 6 – 12 years old. They typically start working within minutes and can provide symptomatic relief from swollen blood vessels in an inflamed nasal passage, relieving a blocked nose, for up to 10 hours.

Otrivine Nasal Drops help by narrowing the blood vessels in the nose. This reduces swelling and congestion, making it easier to breathe. Otrivine Child Nasal Drops can be used to relieve the symptoms of blocked and stuffy noses caused by:

Colds

Hay fever

Other allergic rhinitis

Sinusitis

Otrivine Nasal Drops can also be used to help clear the nose before surgery or other medical procedures.

The ingredients in Otrivine Child Nasal Drops are:

Xylometazoline hydrochloride 0.05% w/v (active ingredient)

Sodium chloride

Sodium phosphate

Sodium acid phosphate

Disodium edetate

Benzalkonium chloride

Sorbitol

Hypromellose

Water

To use Otrivine Nasal Drops Child 0.05% 10ml, simply tilt your child's head back and place 1 or 2 drops in each nostril. Always follow the directions carefully and do not give your child more than the recommended dose.

Do not give your child more than two doses in 24 hours.

Otrivine Nasal Drops Child 0.05% 10ml should not be used for more than 5 days without talking to your doctor or pharmacist. Overuse of Otrivine Nasal Drops Child 0.05% 10ml can lead to rebound congestion, which is a condition in which the nasal congestion becomes worse after the medication stops working.
