Paracetamol Sandoz 1 g is analgesic and antipyretic and is used for symptomatic relief of mild to moderate pain and/or fever. Each effervescent tablet contains 1 g of paracetamol.
Directions for use
- Children 12-18 years (<50 kg): ½ effervescent tablet at a time, up to 4 times a day. Max. 15 mg/kg per dose, 60 mg/kg per day. Interval ≥4 hours.
- Adults/adolescents (>50 kg): ½-1 effervescent tablet at a time, 4-6 hour interval. Max. 3-4 effervescent tablets/day (up to 4 g).
- Persons <50 kg: max. 60 mg/kg per 24 hours (up to 2 g/day).
- Hepatic insufficiency: max. 2 g/day.
- Renal insufficiency: adjust dose depending on filtration.
Dissolve effervescent tablet in half a glass of water. In case of forgotten dose: do not take twice. When stopping: after symptoms disappear, use can be stopped.
Composition
The active substance in this drug is paracetamol. Each effervescent tablet of Paracetamol Sandoz contains 1 g of paracetamol. The other substances in this drug are: anhydrous citric acid, sodium hydrogen carbonate, aspartame (E951), sodium saccharin, povidone K30, sodium lauryl sulfate, mannitol, simethicone, magnesium stearate, orange flavoring agent (includes benzyl alcohol, sucrose and sorbitol), maltodextrin and povidone.
Possible side effects
Serious adverse reactions – contact physician immediately: Swelling of face, tongue or throat, difficulty breathing (angioedema), Severe allergic reactions, Skin reactions (SJS, TEN, AGEP), Overdose / poisoning. Rare (≤1/1,000): Allergic reactions, headache, abdominal pain, diarrhea, nausea, liver problems, pancreatitis, rash, hypotension, muscle weakness. Very rarely (≤1/10,000): Blood abnormalities, respiratory problems, hepatic or renal insufficiency. Not known: Metabolic acidosis, hepatic inflammation, renal disease after prolonged use.

Keep out of reach of children. No special storage conditions. Do not use after expiration date. Dispose of properly through pharmacist, not down sink or toilet.
