Properties

Paracetamol Teva Fasttabs 500 mg contains the active ingredient paracetamol, an analgesic and fever reducer. It is used to treat mild to moderate pain and fever in adults, adolescents and children 6 years of age and older.

Indication

• Symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain.
• Fever reduction in flu and colds.
• Suitable for adults and children 6 years and older.

Directions for use

Always take this medicine exactly as prescribed or as indicated in the package insert. The usual dosage is:

• Children 22-30 kg (about 6-9 years): ½ tablet (250 mg) at a time, up to 3 tablets (1,500 mg) per day.
• Children 30-40 kg (approx. 9-12 years): 1 tablet (500 mg) at a time, max. 4 tablets (2,000 mg) per day.
• Children 40-55 kg (approx. 12-15 years): 1 tablet (500 mg) at a time, max. 6 tablets (3,000 mg) daily.
• Adults and adolescents >55 kg (from 15 years of age): 1-2 tablets (500-1,000 mg) at a time, max. 6 tablets (3,000 mg) daily.

Take the tablets with a glass of water, at least 4-6 hours apart.

Composition

• Active substance: 500 mg paracetamol per tablet.
• Excipients: pregelatinized corn starch, calcium carbonate, povidone K-25, crospovidone type B, alginic acid, colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate.

Storage

• Keep out of the reach of children.
• Store at room temperature, not above 25°C.
• Do not use after the expiration date.

Side effects

Possible side effects include skin rash, nausea, dizziness and allergic reactions. Consult a doctor in case of serious side effects.
