The ingredients in Parapaed Junior oral suspension are paracetamol, ethanol, sorbitan monooleate, glycerol, magnesium aluminium silicate, liquid maltitol, saccharin sodium, xanthan gum, amaranth, cherry flavour, sodium benzoate, citric acid monohydrate, polysorbate 80, and purified water.

The usual dosage for Parapaed Junior oral suspension depends on the child's age and weight. Please consult the product label or the following for specific dosing instructions:
For infants (2-11 months) weighing 4-9 kg: 2.5 ml (1/2 teaspoonful) every 4-6 hours, up to a maximum of 4 doses in 24 hours.
For children (12-23 months) weighing 9-11 kg: 2.5-5 ml (1/2-1 teaspoonful) every 4-6 hours, up to a maximum of 4 doses in 24 hours.
For children (2-4 years) weighing 11-16 kg: 5-7.5 ml (1-1 1/2 teaspoonfuls) every 4-6 hours, up to a maximum of 4 doses in 24 hours.
For children (5-8 years) weighing 16-25 kg: 7.5-10 ml (1 1/2-2 teaspoonfuls) every 4-6 hours, up to a maximum of 4 doses in 24 hours.
For children (9-12 years) weighing 25-35 kg: 10-15 ml (2-3 teaspoonfuls) every 4-6 hours, up to a maximum of 4 doses in 24 hours.
Parapaed Junior is suitable for children from 2 months to 12 years old, experiencing mild to moderate pain or fever, from conditions such as teething, toothache, headache, colds and flu, and post-immunisation fever.
Do not give Parapaed Junior oral suspension to:
Children with a known allergy to any of the ingredients in the medicine
Children under 2 months of age
Children with severe liver or kidney impairment
Children with a rare hereditary fructose intolerance
Children taking any other paracetamol containing product
Children with a history of Gilbert's syndrome
