The Peristeen Plus Accessories Set with Balloon Catheter must be used in conjunction with the Peristeen Plus bowel flush system with balloon catheter.
The water bag can be used up to 15 times. It is designed to stand on the floor and is easy to move with the large handle. The Peristeen Plus water bag has a water temperature indicator on the front. The temperature indicator gives the user information about the water temperature for bowel irrigation. When blue the water is too cold, when red the water is too hot. Green means you can continue with the bowel flush.
The catheter is intended for single use only. Therefore, use a new catheter with each flush. The catheter is pre-coated so insertion is smooth and easy. The soft inflatable balloon is located in the rectum during the bowel flush, so you don’t have to worry about whether the catheter stays in place.
