Physalis Omega 3 Forte contains polyunsaturated omega 3 fatty acids EPA (36%) and DHA (24%) in the natural ratio EPA/DHA of 1.5. Our diet provides proportionally too much omega 6 and too little omega 3. Therefore, supplements with EPA and DHA are recommended. DHA contributes to normal brain function and vision. EPA and DHA contribute to the maintenance of normal blood pressure and normal triglyceride levels (the beneficial effects are observable at a daily dose of 3 g and 2 g EPA + DHA, respectively).
