Features
Physiomer Sinusitis Nasal Shower is a nasal cleansing system that flushes the sinus cavities with a generous and continuous flow to decongest, clean and soothe the mucous membranes of the respiratory system.
- Flushes the nasal cavities and moisturizes the nasal mucosa.
- Diminishes nasal congestion and pressure on the sinuses.
- Promotes proper functioning of the defense mechanisms of the respiratory system.
- Guarantees good tolerance via a sodium carbonate-based buffer system.
- Recommended in cases of severe nasal and sinus congestion, acute and chronic rhinosinusitis, rhinitis and post-operative care.
- Suitable for adults and children from 4 years of age.
How to use
- Select the desired administration position and the corresponding attachment.
- Lean over a sink and tilt your head to one side.
- Keep your mouth open and continue to breathe normally during nasal rinsing.
- Place the attachment at the top of the nostril so that it fits perfectly.
- Gently squeeze the bottle to start the rinse.
- For adults, use 60 to 120 ml per nostril. The measurement marks on the bottle can help you with this.
- For children: set the flow to the “1 drop” position and use 60 ml per nostril.
- Tilt your head to drain the remaining solution from the nasal cavities, then gently blow your nose.
- Discard the remaining solution.
Recommendations
- Adult supervision is recommended for use in children.
- Recommended outside the time of meals.
- Recommended for people suffering from allergy.
- Suitable for pregnant and breastfeeding women.
- At the first nasal rinse, when the solution runs into the nasal cavity, you may feel like you are being “swamped.” Don’t worry, that feeling is normal and disappears with repeated use.
- Use spring or mineral water, lukewarm or at room temperature. Avoid using too cold or too hot water, which could cause a burning sensation.
- You can gradually warm the solution in the bottle in the microwave in 5-second increments. Only the bottle is designed to be used in the microwave: no other part of the system should be placed in the microwave.
- Keep your mouth open during use: this closes the soft palate so that the solution cannot run down your throat. Except for a salty taste, which can be unpleasant, swallowing the solution is completely harmless.
- Tilt your head so that the solution can run from one nostril to the other. Even if the solution does not flow from one nostril to the other, the nasal rinse is effective.
