Properties

Pouches for nasal rinsing for use with the Physiomer Sinusitis Nasal Shower.

• Rinseses the nasal cavities and moisturizes the nasal mucosa.
• Diminishes nasal congestion and pressure on the sinuses.
• Promotes proper functioning of the defense mechanisms of the respiratory system.
• Guarantees good tolerance through a sodium carbonate-based buffer system.
• Recommended in cases of severe nasal and sinus congestion, acute and chronic rhinosinusitis, rhinitis and post-operative care.
• Suited for adults and children aged 4 years and older.

Use instructions

In case of rhinitis, sinusitis, rhinosinusitis, allergic rhinitis, for postoperative care and general hygiene:

• Dose: 1 sachet dissolved in 240 ml of spring or mineral water gives a buffered isotonic solution equivalent to 9 g/l NaCl.
• Frequency: 1 to 3 times a day in case of illness or as post-operative care, 2 to 3 times a day for general hygiene.

Occasionally if needed, in case of severe nasal congestion:

• Dose: 2 sachets dissolved in 240 ml of spring or mineral water give a buffered hypertonic solution equivalent to 18 g/l NaCl.
• Frequency: 1 time a day for 3 to 5 days. Can be used in cases of asthma, allergic rhinitis and cystic fibrosis for nasal hygiene, and in cases of chronic rhinosinusitis.

• Adult supervision is recommended for use in children.
• Recommended outside meal times.
• Recommended for people suffering from allergies.
• Suitable for pregnant and breastfeeding women.
• Replace Physiomer Sinusitis Pouches, specially manufactured for nasal rinsing, not by “home-made” salt formulas containing table salt. These may contain impurities or anti-caking agents.
• Do not perform a nasal rinse with spring or mineral water without adding 1 or 2 sachets Physiomer Sinusitis (depending on the desired dosage). Water alone is hypotonic and may cause nasal congestion.
• Use the sachet immediately after opening. To avoid improper dosing, do not reuse a pouch that has already been opened.
• Do the nasal rinse at least 1 hour before leaving your home in the cold (risk of rhinitis).
• In case of acute illness (cold, temporary sinusitis or rhinosinusitis) and if symptoms persist for more than 10 days, consult your doctor.
• Do not use if your nose is completely blocked or if you suffer from severe nosebleeds, if you have an ear infection such as otitis, suffer from accumulation of earwax or if you have recently undergone ear surgery or if you have difficulty keeping your balance.

Per sachet of 4 g: complex of 5 mineral salts (sodium chloride, potassium chloride, calcium chloride, magnesium chloride and sodium bicarbonate).
